Explainer
What Power Platform readiness means
Readiness is not about having a large IT team. It is about having enough in place that the first few apps succeed and keep working after the person who built them moves on.
Guardrails
Environments, DLP policies and clear ownership mean people can build without exposing data or creating apps that break when someone leaves.
Clarity on cost
Knowing what Microsoft 365 already covers and when premium licences are needed stops projects stalling halfway through on an unexpected bill.
Data you can build on
Apps and automation need structured data in SharePoint lists, Dataverse or a database. Spreadsheets on desktops and email attachments are the usual blocker.
People and backing
A senior sponsor, documented processes, involved IT and at least a few capable makers turn one-off apps into a programme that keeps delivering.
FAQ
Readiness quiz questions
What does the readiness score mean?
It is a simple weighted total of your eight answers, scaled from 0 to 100. Below 40 is Getting started, 40 to 74 is Building and 75 or more is Ready to scale. It is a conversation starter, not a formal audit.
Is a low score a reason not to start?
No. Most organisations start with a low score. The useful part is the three weakest areas, because fixing those alongside a small first project is usually the fastest way forward.
Do you store my answers?
Your answers stay in your browser unless you choose to send them using the optional form. If you do, they are stored with your enquiry so your lead consultant can reply with specific advice.
How is this different from a Health Check?
The quiz is a self-assessment that takes two minutes. The Health Check is a five-day review of your actual environments, apps, flows and policies, with a prioritised action plan and a walkthrough.
We already have lots of apps and flows. Is the quiz still useful?
Yes. Mature tenants often score lower than expected on ownership and governance because apps grew faster than the guardrails. Those are the areas the quiz highlights first.
Want a proper look at your tenant?
The Health Check reviews your environments, apps, flows and policies in five working days and gives you a ranked list of risks and quick wins.
