Power Platform training, UKHands-on training that turns curious staff into confident, well-governed makers.
Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio workshops run in your own tenant, on your own scenarios, by a PL-200 certified consultant who builds these solutions every week.
Maker enablement
Your staff can build more than you think, with the right start.
Many organisations already pay for Power Apps and Power Automate through Microsoft 365, and a few enthusiasts are building on their own. Training gets more people building, and building in a way IT can support.
Generic online courses teach the buttons. They rarely teach how your organisation should use the platform: which environment to build in, which data is off limits, how to name things and what to do before you go on holiday. That gap is how ownerless flows and fragile apps appear.
Our Power Platform training is built around your scenarios and your guardrails. Each session is delivered by the same consultant who designs and builds Power Platform solutions for UK organisations, so the examples are practical and the answers to awkward questions come from real projects.
Training works best alongside a Centre of Excellence and governance model, and we can set both up together.
Workshops and courses
Power Apps training, Power Automate training and more.
Pick a single workshop or combine them into a programme. Every session can be tailored to your organisation.
New makers, any department
Build your first app in a day
A one-day, hands-on workshop where each person builds a working canvas app on a SharePoint list or Dataverse table: screens, forms, galleries, simple formulas and sharing. Everyone leaves with an app they made and the confidence to build the next one.
Makers and process owners
Power Automate training
Cloud flows for approvals, notifications and document handling. Triggers, conditions, error handling and the habits that stop flows failing quietly when the person who built them goes on leave.
A cohort of makers over several weeks
Citizen developer programme
A short series of sessions plus office hours, where makers build a real app or flow for their own team with review and coaching. Designed alongside your governance so new makers work in the right environments from the start.
Makers, HR, IT and knowledge owners
Copilot Studio agent workshop
How to build an agent grounded in your own SharePoint content, write instructions and topics, test it properly and decide when it is ready for real users.
IT and platform owners
Admin and governance training
Environments, data loss prevention policies, security roles, the admin centre and Centre of Excellence tooling, so your IT team can run the platform with confidence.
Staff working towards certification
PL-900 and PL-200 exam preparation support
Structured study plans mapped to the published exam skills outline, practical exercises in your tenant and review sessions on weaker areas, from a consultant who holds PL-200.
How we train
Practical, governed and in your own environment.
Your tenant, your data
Training runs in a development environment in your own tenant, on examples drawn from your organisation, so what people learn applies on Monday morning.
Small groups, hands-on
More building than slides. Small groups mean everyone gets help when a formula will not behave, and nobody is left watching someone else's screen.
Governance built in
New makers learn where to build, how to name things, which connectors are allowed and how to hand over, so enablement does not create next year's clean-up job.
Remote or on-site
Delivered remotely over Teams anywhere in the UK, or on-site by arrangement. Materials and exercises are yours to keep and reuse.
Build your first app in a day
Our most requested format. In one day, each participant builds a working canvas app from scratch using a scenario from your organisation, such as an equipment loan register, a site inspection checklist or a simple request form.
- Morning: data in SharePoint or Dataverse, screens, galleries and forms
- Afternoon: formulas, validation, a Power Automate notification and sharing safely
- Wrap-up: where to build next, who to ask, and how to hand an app over
This is our own workshop, designed and delivered by us. It is not a Microsoft-branded training event.
PL-900 and PL-200 exam preparation support
Certification gives makers and IT staff a structured path through the platform. PL-900 covers the fundamentals of Power Platform, and PL-200 is the Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate exam, which your lead consultant holds.
We support candidates with a study plan built from Microsoft's published skills outline, practical exercises in a development environment, and review sessions focused on the areas people find hardest, such as Dataverse security and solution management.
We are not a Microsoft Certified Trainer and do not provide official Microsoft courseware or exam vouchers. Candidates book exams directly with Microsoft, and Microsoft Learn offers free official learning paths alongside our support.
Honest fit check
Is training the right next step?
A good fit when
- Staff already have Power Apps and Power Automate through Microsoft 365 and want to use them
- You want makers to build for their own teams, within guardrails
- IT wants to understand and govern what people are building
- Someone needs a structured route towards PL-900 or PL-200
Probably not the right tool when
- You need one critical system delivered quickly; a build is faster than training
- There is no environment strategy or DLP policy yet and nobody to own one
- Nobody will have time to build after the workshop
- You need official Microsoft-branded courseware or a Microsoft Certified Trainer
Need something built rather than taught? See Power Apps development and Power Automate consultancy.
Pricing for training
Training is quoted per organisation rather than sold from a fixed package, because group size, the number of sessions, remote or on-site delivery and the amount of tailoring vary widely. Tell us what you need and you will receive a written fixed quote, excluding VAT, before anything is booked.
FAQ
Power Platform training questions
What Power Platform training do you offer in the UK?
Hands-on workshops in Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio, a citizen developer programme for a cohort of makers, admin and governance training for IT, and exam preparation support for PL-900 and PL-200. Sessions run remotely or on-site, in a development environment in your own tenant.
What is citizen developer training?
It teaches staff outside IT to build simple apps and automations for their own teams with Power Apps and Power Automate, within guardrails set by IT. Good citizen developer training covers both the building skills and the governance: where to build, what data can be used and how to hand a solution over.
How long does it take to learn Power Apps?
Most people with good Excel skills can build a simple working app in a day of guided training. Becoming confident with data modelling, delegation, security and solutions takes a few months of regular practice. A cohort programme with coaching on a real project shortens that considerably.
Can you help us prepare for the PL-900 or PL-200 exam?
Yes. We provide study plans mapped to the official exam skills outline, practical exercises and review sessions, delivered by a consultant who holds the PL-200 certification. We are not a Microsoft Certified Trainer and do not sell exam vouchers; candidates book exams directly through Microsoft.
How much does Power Platform training cost?
Training is quoted for each organisation, based on the number of sessions, group size, whether it is remote or on-site and how much tailoring to your own scenarios is needed. Ask about training and you will receive a written fixed quote, excluding VAT.
