How to prepare

Five things worth having to hand.

You do not need a requirements document. These make the twenty minutes go further.

  • A sentence on the process you want to improve and why now.
  • Who uses it: roughly how many people, which teams, and anyone outside the organisation.
  • Where the data lives today, such as a spreadsheet, an Access database, SharePoint or another system.
  • Your Microsoft 365 plan, if you know it. If not, we can work it out together.
  • A screenshot or a blank copy of the form or spreadsheet, if you are happy to share it on screen.

After the call

What you get, and when.

  1. Shortly after

A short email summary of what we discussed and any links that came up.

  2. Within three working days

If there is a fit, a written scope with a fixed price, timeline and licensing implications.

  3. Your decision

No follow-up sequence. If you want to go ahead, we agree a start date. If not, that is fine.

FAQ

Questions about the call

Is the 20-minute call really free?

Yes. It is free and there is no obligation. The call exists so both sides can tell quickly whether the work is a good fit, and you leave with a useful view even if you never work with us.

Who will I speak to on the call?

The PL-200 certified consultant who would scope and build your project. There is no salesperson or account manager, so technical and licensing questions can be answered on the spot.

What if Power Platform is not the right tool?

We will say so. Sometimes an off-the-shelf product, a SharePoint list or a custom application fits better. Our guide to Power Platform vs custom development explains how we make that call.

Can we include colleagues from IT or finance?

Yes, and it often helps. Invite whoever owns the process, the budget or the tenant. Twenty minutes is usually enough; if more people join, we can extend or follow up.
