Power Platform support and managed services, UKInherited apps and failing flows, fixed and kept healthy.
A monthly support retainer for the Power Apps, flows and agents your teams rely on, run by the consultant who knows them. If the person who built them has left, we start with a rescue: work out what they do, fix what is broken and write it down.
Part one: Rescue
When nobody knows how it works any more.
Power Apps and Power Automate are easy to build with and easy to leave behind. These are the situations we are asked to fix most often.
The maker has left
The person who built it has moved on, and their account still owns the app or flow.
Flows fail quietly
Runs fail overnight, approvals stall and you only hear about it when someone complains.
No documentation
Nobody knows what the app does behind the screens, which connections it uses or where the data lives.
Afraid to change it
Every small change risks breaking something, so requests pile up and workarounds spread.
How a rescue works
Rescue assessment
A fixed-price review of the affected apps and flows: what they do, why they fail and what they depend on.
Stabilise
Fix the failures, move ownership to service accounts or solutions, and add error alerts so problems surface early.
Document
A plain-English description of each solution, its data, connections and owners, plus a recorded walkthrough.
Keep it running
Hand back to your team, or move onto a Care Plan so someone who knows the solution is always on hand.
Part two: Care Plans
Someone who knows your solutions, on hand every month.
For teams without in-house Power Platform skills, or whose maker has moved on. One consultant who knows your apps and flows, not a ticket queue.
Monthly support hours
A block of hours for fixes and questions. Unused hours roll over for one month.
Flow failure monitoring
Alerts on failed runs, with fixes made before most users notice.
Small enhancements
New fields, extra approval steps, report tweaks and licence changes from the same hours.
Quarterly review
A call to look at usage, failures, upcoming Microsoft changes and what to improve next.
Change control
Changes made in development and released through solutions, not edited live.
Up-to-date documentation
Every change recorded, so the documentation never drifts from what is running.
Pricing
Fixed-price rescue, then predictable monthly care.
The rescue assessment uses our Health Check package. Care Plans are sized by hours once we know your solutions.

What the managed service covers
Power Platform managed services: what is in, what is out.
A clear line between support and new work keeps the monthly fee predictable. Anything outside the plan is quoted as a fixed price before we start.
| Area | Included in the Care Plan | Quoted separately |
|---|---|---|
| Failed flow runs | Monitored, diagnosed and fixed from your plan hours | Rebuilding a flow that needs a full redesign (quoted separately) |
| Power Apps issues | Bugs, broken connections, delegation warnings and performance fixes | New apps or major new screens (quoted as a build) |
| Small changes | New fields, extra approval steps, wording, permissions and report tweaks | Changes that alter the data model across several apps |
| Licences and capacity | Licence assignment checks and Dataverse capacity warnings | Buying or reselling licences (you buy from Microsoft or your reseller) |
| Microsoft changes | Reviewing release notes and retirements that affect your solutions | Tenant-wide Microsoft 365 administration |
| Releases | Changes built in development and deployed as managed solutions | Editing production directly |
Support levels and response targets
How issues are prioritised under your support plan.
We do not publish a one-size SLA. Each plan sets response targets agreed in the care plan, matched to how critical your solutions are and how many hours you reserve. This is how issues are ranked once they reach us.
Business stopped
Example: A flow that pays suppliers or an app the front line depends on has stopped working.
Handling: Worked on first, ahead of all planned changes, during UK business hours.
Degraded
Example: A process works with a workaround, or failures affect some users or some runs.
Handling: Picked up after any business-stopped issues, with a fix or plan agreed with you.
Change request
Example: A new field, an extra approval step, a new report column.
Handling: Scheduled into the month's hours and released through your normal test and sign-off.
Support runs in UK business hours, Monday to Friday. Every message gets a reply within one working day as a minimum, and the plan records any tighter targets we agree.
Retainer or hire?
A support retainer compared with an in-house Power Platform developer.
Both are sensible. The right answer depends on how much change you expect each month.
An in-house developer makes sense when you have a steady pipeline of new apps and flows, enough to fill a full-time role. Salary adverts on UK job boards such as IT Jobs Watch commonly show Power Platform developer salaries somewhere around £40,000 to £80,000 (October 2026, indicative), before employer costs, training and cover for holidays.
A support retainer suits organisations whose solutions are built and mostly stable, but who still need fixes, small changes and someone watching for failures. The Care Plan starts from £495 a month, ex VAT, with 30 days' notice, and the hours scale up or down as your needs change.
Many organisations do both: a maker or two in-house for day-to-day changes, with a Care Plan for releases, governance and the issues that need deeper knowledge. If you are building an in-house team, our governance and CoE work sets up the guardrails they will need. For a fuller breakdown, read our support plan vs in-house developer comparison.
Honest fit
Is a Care Plan right for you?
A good fit when
- Apps and flows the business relies on daily
- No one in-house who can safely change them
- A steady trickle of small change requests
- You want failures spotted before users report them
Probably not the right tool when
- You need 24/7 or out-of-hours incident cover
- You have a capable in-house maker who just needs occasional advice
- The solution needs a rebuild rather than support (we will tell you)
FAQ
Support questions
What is a Power Platform managed service?
It is ongoing support for the Power Apps, Power Automate flows and Copilot Studio agents your organisation already runs: monitoring, fixes, small changes and keeping up with Microsoft changes, for a monthly fee. Ours is the Care Plan, from £495 a month, delivered by the consultant who knows your solutions.
Do you offer an SLA?
Each Care Plan sets out response targets agreed in the care plan, based on how critical your solutions are and how many hours you buy. We do not publish one generic SLA, because a plan for one approval flow and a plan for a business-critical app need different targets. Support runs in UK business hours.
How is a support retainer different from paying per fix?
A retainer reserves time each month, so someone already familiar with your apps and flows is available and failures are watched for, not just reported. Paying per fix suits rarely used solutions. If you only need help two or three times a year, we will say so and quote fixes individually.
Can you support apps and flows you did not build?
Yes. Most rescue work is on solutions built by someone else, often a former employee or another supplier. We start with an assessment so we understand the solution before promising anything.
What is a rescue assessment and how much does it cost?
It is a fixed-price review of the apps and flows causing trouble, based on our Health Check package from £1,450. You get a list of what is broken and why, the risks, and a fixed price to stabilise and document everything. The fee is credited against follow-on work within 60 days.
Our flow is failing right now. Can you help quickly?
Often, yes. Book a call or send the error details through the contact form. For a single failing flow we can usually diagnose it on a short call and quote a small fixed fee for the fix.
What does a Care Plan include?
A monthly block of support hours with one-month rollover, flow failure monitoring and fixes, small enhancements and licence changes, and a quarterly review call. Plans start from £495 a month and can be cancelled with 30 days notice.
Do you need admin access to our tenant?
We need enough access to see and change the solutions in scope, usually an account in your tenant with roles limited to the relevant environments. We agree the access with your IT team and you can remove it at any time.
What hours is support available?
UK business hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30. We reply within one working day. Out-of-hours cover is not part of the standard Care Plan.
Are we locked in?
No. Everything we change is documented and stays in your tenant. If you stop the plan, your team or another supplier can pick it up from the documentation.
