Who we are

Power Platform MS is a UK-based Microsoft Power Platform consultancy. We help organisations across the UK design, build, and deploy solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry. Our website is powerplatformms.co.uk and you can reach us at hello@powerplatformms.co.uk.

We act as the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We take our obligations under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 seriously.

What data we collect and why

Contact and enquiry data

When you submit our contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and the message you send us. You can also choose to provide your company name, phone number, organisation type, and job role. These fields are optional and help us give you a more tailored response.

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where you have given consent, to follow up about relevant Power Platform services. We do not sell this data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Lawful basis: Consent (you tick the checkbox on our form) and legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry).

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, for example, which pages are visited most often and how people find us. Google Analytics collects anonymised data including your approximate location, browser type, device type, and pages viewed. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

Lawful basis: Legitimate interests (improving our website and understanding which content is useful).

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies on this site:

• Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, _gat). These track anonymous usage statistics. They expire between 24 hours and 2 years depending on the cookie.
• Functional cookies, set by our hosting infrastructure to ensure the site loads correctly. These contain no personal data.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.

How we store your data

Enquiry data submitted through our contact form is stored in a secure database hosted on Neon (a managed PostgreSQL service). Our website is hosted on Vercel, with servers in the EU. We do not store payment card data. We do not currently take payments through this website.

We retain contact and enquiry records for up to 24 months from the date of last contact. After that, records are deleted unless you have an ongoing business relationship with us.

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate this website:

• Vercel, website hosting and deployment (EU data centres)
• Neon, database hosting for enquiry data
• Google Analytics, anonymised website usage statistics

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and operates under appropriate data processing agreements. We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

International transfers

Vercel and Neon operate within the EU/EEA and the UK, so your data does not routinely leave the UK or EU. Google Analytics may transfer anonymised data to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK ICO.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Delete your data (the "right to be forgotten")
• Restrict how we process your data in certain circumstances
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy
