The Challenge
The college was processing 8,500 annual applications and re-enrolments via paper forms, scanning, and manual data entry into a legacy MIS. The September enrolment peak required 12 temporary staff, cost £48,000 per year, and still resulted in a 3-week backlog. Interview scheduling was managed via email, and the college had no visibility of application conversion rates or pipeline by subject area.
